The working group aims to show how development, when done responsibly, supports economic growth and increases the standard of living.

Showcasing redevelopment of legacy mines
The Stibnite Gold Project site is an example of redevelopment on a legacy mine site that is need of mitigation.  Midas Gold has a plan for restoration and sustainable operations with the goal of cleaning up past exploration and mine production that takes care of the environment.

Demand for new technologies driving new mines in North America
Cobalt is critical in the production of rechargeable batteries.  Demand for these technologies is driving the need for more production.  As the only environmentally permitted, primary cobalt project in the United States, the ICP has the opportunity to become a reliable and transparent source of cobalt supply in the face of rapidly growing demand for the metal.
